This book is a great find for all gardeners from casual amateurs with small plots to the ambitious pros. It is written in a clear informative easy-to-access style. The content is of tremendous value. I particularly liked the indicators of 'probable viability' of the stored seeds, but a great deal more of the information was of use to me. I'm now inspired to try more. I highly recommend this book.
I thought I knew how to save seeds. Well, I've been doing it wrong. Sure I get plants from the seeds I've saved, but are they true? Mayo tells exactly how to do it the right way. This is an excellent book. Can't wait to use the information this fall.
This is a very short book, I really felt like the author could have gone into more detail about the methods of seed saving. I was a little disappointed in the formatting of the book in kindle, but they where minor issues that really doesn't affect readability. I did like the information about how far apart to grow different varieties of the same vegetable.
I couldn't help but feel like I could have gotten this information from the Internet, but at least it's all in one convenient location.
